O&O CleverCache is a system utility designed to optimize the original Microsoft Windows memory and cache management procedures, helping you to keep a clean and light system and to prevent individual programs - or even your entire system - from crashing or running slow due to information overload.
CleverCache's interface is very pleasant, and presents a tabbed design with command ribbons in the style of Microsoft Office 2007. On the "System" tab, you can access features that will display a summary of the system status (where you can see the system processor, its main memory, system cache and hard disk usage, together with real-time graphical statistics on how your memory and cache are being used), detailed system information (including the processor, memory, operating system, graphical and audio hardware, system and user names, time zone and more), and again the same statistics mentioned above but in a more detailed way.
This program also manages "profiles", which allows you to configure this tool in the exact way you want it to behave and to optimize your system. It provides three predefined profiles called "Automatic Optimization", "Maximize Main Memory", and "Maximize File Cache", which are pretty self-explanatory, though you can always create your own customized profiles.
Finally, you also have the "Settings" tab, where you can fine-tune the program telling it what to monitor, what to show, and whether to start or stop its monitoring functions. CleverCache also provides several ways to close it, allowing you to choose between minimizing the Control Center to the System Tray area, closing the Control Center while keeping the service active, or closing the Control Center and all its monitoring and optimizing activity. Besides that, the command ribbons are fully customizable, letting you add or remove commands.
A very important detail to take into account is that this program offers a version especially designed for Server Operating Systems, like Microsoft Windows 2003 or 2008.
